Studies say in India our urban population produces more than 62 million tonnes of garbage every year. Out of this 5.6 million tonnes is plastic waste, 0.17 million tonnes is biomedical waste and up to 28 million tonnes biodegradable waste. All this garbage we produce in year is good enough to cove entire small country.

Everyone know that India has inefficient and insufficient waste management infrastructure system, it all reflects on our streets, drains and public places in the form of garbage dumps.

The “Swachh Bharat Innishatav” has been started in year 2014 by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the pledge to recognize India as clean city till October 2019. However it is completely different are of the discussion India is now become clean country or not but we have no doubt to say India has developed senses of garbage management during last four years.

Role of the dustbin in making “Swachh Bharat”:

Dustbin is basic essential to deal with the garbage, specially the garbage from home, nearby society and locality. The government ensures availability of two type of dustbins, one in green colour to dump biodegradable and edible waste and another is in blue colour to dump solid waste such as plastic and papers.
